Title: Systems Administrator
Location: Ft. Meade, MD
Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph

Job Description:

  • Provide and supervise set-up, configure, and load system software and hardware
  • Provide system administration support of computers, servers, racks of equipment and figure/manage LAN interfaces.
  • Provide support for web development, testing, system integration, installation scripts and other duties to support systems and network infrastructure.

Requirements:

  • Must hold an Associate’s Degree and Five years’ experience OR Nine years of experience with installation, maintenance, administration, and trouble shooting of LAN, computer hardware and software
  • Must be experienced in performing and assisting with equipment specification, setup, problem resolution, and network support related to computer hardware and software
  • Must hold experience in providing assistance to users
  • Must hold experience in optimizing system operations
  • Must hold experience in ensuring compliance with licensing agreements and system currency.

Title: Systems Engineer
Location: Ft. Meade, MD

Job Description:

  • Provide senior system engineering support on large-scale systems, major system elements, and/or interfacing systems
  • Manage support to the overall system engineering domain in architecture, requirements analysis, data flow, network design and/or implementation or testing
  • Analyze user requirements, concept of operations documents, and high level system architecture to develop system requirements specifications
  • Develop detailed system architecture and system design documentation
  • Guide system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans
  • Develop system configuration documentation, including detailed designs for capacity planning, security systems and disaster recovery. Conduct on the job training for co-workers.

Requirements:

  • Must hold a bachelor’s Degree and Five to ten years’ experience in a technical role in projects and programs for Government or Industry customers
  • Must have five years’ experience as a Systems Engineer in programs that encompass system architecture, requirements analysis, process execution and evaluation
  • Must be experienced in the following: Solaris, Linux, HP LO100i, and Windows utilities and techniques to diagnose and correct performance bottlenecks
  • Significant experience in the following: Designing complex collection systems
  • Experience in integrating systems using multiple operating systems (Solaris, Linux, Windows)
  • Experience in performing tradeoff studies and System performance analysis
  • Experience in Agile methods is desired.

Title: Software Engineer
Location: Ft. Meade, MD
Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph

Job Description:

  • Will perform software/patch/firmware deployment manually or using software deployment tools; Act as a subject matter expert for software development and engineering.
  • Code and test software based upon software specifications and designs.
  • Analyze and study complex system requirements.
  • Design software tools and subsystems to support software reuse and domain software development.
  • Support using formal specifications, data flow diagrams, other accepted design techniques and Computer-Aided Software Engineering (CASE) tools.
  • Use sound software engineering principles to ensure that developed code is modifiable, efficient, reliable, understandable, and fault tolerant.
  • Provide software process management and control throughout the coding portion of the software development process.

Requirements:

  • Must hold an Bachelor’s Degree and Five years’ experience OR Nine years of experience in a technical role working on software intensive projects and programs for Government or Industry customers.
  • Must hold 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer supporting software architecture development, requirements analysis, process execution and evaluation, selection and evaluation of COTS/GOTS tools, and software integration (with both new and legacy systems).
  • Must hold 5 years of experience using any or all of the following: JAVA; C++ or C; COBRA; J2EE; Perl; JavaScript; UNIX scripting languages; XML; HTML; workflow tools such as JBoss or Weblogic; DOM; AJAX; Apache; Spring, near-real-time processing, collection systems, network protocols & standards, GUI development, and mission management systems.
  • Must be experience in Web Services implementation.
  • Must be experienced in programming using Top Down, Event Driven, and object oriented paradigms.
  • Experience in Agile methods is required.

Title: Network Engineer
Location: Ft. Meade, MD
Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph

Job Description:

  • Provides assistance in all aspects of network management from network design through implementation, maintenance and upgrading of existing networks; specification, and related documents and implements communication system requirements to support the distributed functionality of a software engineering environment
  • Analyze network characteristics (e.g. traffic connect time, transmission speeds, packet sizes and throughput), troubleshoots problems and recommends procurement of, and/or modifications to network components.

Requirements:

  • Must hold Ten years of experience in a technical role in projects and programs for Government or Industry customers with: eight years experience as a Network Engineer in programs that encompass system architecture, requirements analysis, process execution and evaluation
  • Must hold experience in developing networks from design through implementation
  • Must have experience with Cisco IOS or JunOS or equivalent.
  • Must hold experience in configuring multi-vendor network equipment.
  • Must have experience with network test gear and testing network equipment.
  • Must be experience in configuring NAT and Routing Protocols.
  • Must hold experience with Ethernet Trunking and configuring Ethernet VLANs.

Title: Configuration Manager
Location: Ft. Meade, MD
Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph

Job Description:

    • Will work a Lead, providing overall configuration management and implementation guidance for daily activities supporting sustainment, integration, testing, and fielding of systems.
    • Responsible for managing input and retrieval of data in the configuration management repository.

Requirements:

  • Must hold a Bachelors Degree or have sixteen years of experience in configuration management.
  • Must have experience with two or more commercial software products (e.g., ClearCase, Razor, TeamWare) used for configuration management.
  • Agile methods experience is required.

Title: Local Support Technician
Location: Fort Meade, MD

Position Description:

  • Performs basic analytical activities related to the definition, development, implementation, maintenance, and support of laptops/desktops and client-supported applications.
  • Interfaces with end users to handle tasks of a routine nature, such as researching and answering questions concerning system function and usage, researching modifications to existing programs.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of at least 1-2 years of experience with Windows operating systems, hardware platforms and software packages.
  • Must have physical capability of lifting and moving hardware.

Title: Remote Resolution Technician
Location: Fort Meade, MD

Position Description:

  • Provides remote system administration support, system maintenance, and operation of Windows and/or UNIX workstations.
  • Troubleshoots problems and applies resolutions remotely.
  • Resolves desktop problems and service requests such as software installs remotely using tools such as SMS, Remote Desktop Connection, Active Directory, etc.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1-5 years of experience with Windows and/or UNIX operating systems, hardware platforms and software packages.

Title: Help Desk Specialist
Location: Fort Meade, MD

Position Description:

  • Provides phone and in-person support to users in the areas of r phone and in-person support to users, including e-mail, LAN/WAN, directories, standard desktop images and applications, COTS and GOTS applications.
  • Serves as the initial point of contact for troubleshooting all IT related problems, including hardware/software, passwords, and printer problems.

Position Description:

    Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems. Manage IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems. Provide support to IT systems including: day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client problems. Provide second level problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems. Provide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remain involved in the resolution process. Provide support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers. Must possess experience in one or more systems and architectures and associated hardware: mainframe, mini, or client/server based.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of Operating Systems and Applications
  • Knowledge of Hardware and Software Troubleshooting
  • Familiar with System Maintenance
  • Knowledge of installing, supporting and maintaining systems/servers and installing software

Position: Network Engineer
Location: Landover/ New Carrollton, MD
Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph

Position Description:

  • Provides specifications and detailed schematics for network architecture, interfaces, configurations and protocols.
  • Provides specific detailed information for hardware and software selection, implementation techniques and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs, including present and future capacity requirements.
  • Conducts testing of network design. Propose migration paths for LAN and WAN upgrades.
  • Support and assist in site surveys, installations and relocations of WAN and/or LAN equipment.
  • Maintains technical expertise in all areas of network and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing, such as routers, multiplexers, firewalls, hubs, bridges, gateways, etc.
  • Evaluates and reports on new communications technologies to enhance capabilities of the network.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a technical discipline with at least 4 years’ experience in LAN/WAN network engineering (including network design) or No Bachelor’s degree and at least eight (8) years documented successful experience in LAN/WAN Network Engineering (including network design)
  • A successful candidate should have general experience, installation, network monitoring and maintenance of various network equipment (routers, switches and associated technologies)
  • At least 3 years of experience in the remote monitoring and maintenance of equipment (use of network sniffers and protocol analyzers)
  • Experience with multiple networking protocols across client-server platforms as well as an understanding of large-scale processor applications (e.g., TCP/IP, ATM/SONET, TDM, SMDS, ISDN and Token Ring)
  • At least two years of experience with VoIP phone and VTCoIP technology

Title: Telephony Prewire Technician
Location: Fort Meade, MD

Position Description:

  • Telephony Prewire skilled technician to install and terminate, maintain and document both copper and fiber optic station cables and all associated hardware.
  • Must be able to provide leadership and direction to crews while displaying proper performance, customer service skills and adherence to security regulations of site.

Requirements:

  • Requires High School education and at least three or more years of experience in the telecommunications industry or equivalent.
  • Employee must be able to give guidance to subordinates.
  • Must be able to lift 60 pounds and be able to climb ladders.

Title: Cable Plant Technician
Location: Fort Meade, MD

Position Description:

  • Duties will be centered on, but not limited to, the installation and maintenance of telecommunications backbone cabling, both interior and outside plant.
  • This includes, but is not limited to, installation, splicing and termination of large count copper and fiber communications cable, installation of racks/frames and cable management hardware.

Requirements:

  • Requires High School education and at least 2-4 years’ experience in the telecommunications industry with four of those years centered on the installation and maintenance of telecommunications backbone cabling.
  • Each employee must be able to lift at least 60 pounds and climb ladders to complete their duties, and, demonstrate performance that includes successfully working closely with customers.

Title: Software Developer
Location: Reston, VA
Security Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph

Position Description:

  • Software developer needed to help design, develop and deliver search applications and develop new search functionality in support of vital enterprise IT applications.
  • Should have a good understanding of Agile development methodology, test-driven development, and search theory. The developer will be responsible for designing and implementing back-end search processes and front-end displays.

Desired skills:

  • Experience with JavaScript, CVS, AJAX, ANT, PKI, Tomcat, Linux, Eclipse
  • Experience with additional enterprise search technologies such as Lucene, Endeca, Google, etc.
